Nemo Outdoor 5.40 presents Multi Lite benchmarking tool, and new PCTEL LTE and Rohde & Schwarz scanners

The new Nemo Outdoor Multi Lite is a modern, lightweight benchmarking solution that thanks to its compact size can even be taken as carry-on luggage on an aircraft. The new casing has been designed and developed so that extensive benchmarking, voice quality and drive test measurements can be performed without interference among test terminals, regardless of the solution’s small size. Furthermore, the solution is connected to a single laptop. Also note that the Nemo Outdoor Multi and Multi Lite benchmarking solutions now both support six terminals in voice quality measurements, also with Qualcomm-based test terminals.

A range of new scanners are introduced with Nemo Outdoor 5.40. Five new LTE scanners by PCTEL join to endorse Nemo Outdoor’s extensive LTE support, and Rohde & Schwarz TSMQ scanner is now fortified with new bands and features. In addition, new scanners include the Rohde & Schwarz TSML GSM, WCDMA, GSM/WCDMA, and CDMA/EVDO scanners. CW scanning and spectrum scanning are now supported with all Rohde & Schwarz scanners. Several new Nokia terminals such as Nokia N97, N97 US, and 6720 US are also introduced as well as test devices from other vendors, with increased support for HSPA+.

Moreover, Nemo Outdoor 5.40 features a host of new user interface enhancements and additions from graph layer coloring to map window improvements and a new grid type. IP packet capture files can be decoded in Nemo Outdoor, and also played back and viewed with the new packet decoder grids. WCDMA pilot pollution analysis measurements are now also supported in real time using UE or a scanning receiver.
