We began our activities in Milan downtown in 2000 and from May 2007 we moved our headquarter in the modern buildings named “Torri Bianche” in Vimercate,
just 20 minutes driving from Linate Airport, where many other companies in the technological field are present like Cisco and Alcatel.
In the centre of Rome some technical employees operate to cover this area where most of our main customers have their headquarters. Of recent introduction also a powerful ERP system (SAP) to automate procedures and to outsource our stocking activities to a great structure of integrated logistics located not far from our operating centre allowing us to manage large supplies. We are continuously looking for products and solutions to keep
our offering updated and complete. This also is needed in order to maintain Ampercom competitive in a market that changes quickly.

About Orwell - a division of Ampercom
In 2008, with the new brand ORWELL, a new division was born for dealing on transmitting devices for TV broadcasting market. The main purpose is to satisfy the day-after-day more tightening requirements coming form the customers using solutions developed and manufactured over their real needs, i.e extremely small dimensions or dual-drive systems.
ORWELL team is made up of system engineers and researchers leader in their fields that has been successfully working since several years in TV broadcasting market. From the merging of several specific experiences a project born: putting together under the same brand the different skill of technical development, production and sales experience in order to realize state-of-the-art digital broadcasting systems.
